Thank you for taking time to read my blog. You'll find topics range from matters of the heart to issues of parenting, business, faith and everything in between. That's because I've had the opportunity to have many different life experiences.

The bulk of my professional career was spent in publishing, where I had the amazing opportunity to work with some of the most respected communicators in the world, and make life-changing products that to this day, still change me.

This blog began when I announced I was leaving publishing to begin my own business, Petite Boutique. We specialized in clothing for the 43% of American women who are 5-foot-4 and shorter. After two years in business, the economy did a big fat number on us in the fall of 2008 and we closed the boutique in the spring of 2009.

While owning the store, I also became mom to the cutest little boy alive, Carter and am the wife of his very handsome father, Jeremy.

Nashville, TN has been my home for many years but we are now moving to Lynchburg, VA where Jeremy is an incoming law student at Liberty University.
